This 1994 Nissan President Sovereign is a luxury car from the 90s that still holds up today. The Sovereign edition is longest wheelbase of all Presidents offered, which gives it an incredibly spacious interior, even in the rear.
The exterior of the President is completely stock, and only has one small dent in the driver fender as pictured in the photos. The OEM KJ6 “Bluish Black Pearl” paint still shines and was freshly detailed to clear any swirling or defects.
As with any VIP car, the interior is where this car really shines. The Sovereign edition was loaded with options from the factory, and this car has every single one. Other than the normal wear on the driver seat, the OEM leather is in excellent condition. The front seats have power adjustable lumbar support, headrest, reclining, and forward/backward adjustment by controls on the door panels. Adjustable power mirrors, automatic lights, and digital climate control all work as expected. The rearmost privacy curtain can be opened and closed by a switch in the center console.
The Nissan President was considered a passenger vehicle, and so the rear is loaded with options as well. The rear seats are heated, and recline with power adjustable headrests. A TV and President branded remote sits between the two seats for entertainment. The rear of the car has its own climate controls in the center console, as well as separate radio controls and headphone jack. Each passenger has their own privacy curtain, ashtray, and independent seat adjustment controls in the door panel. Behind the passengers is an OEM air purifier which can be set by the driver near the AC controls.
Engine wise, this big body sedan is 100% stock. The VH45DE motor just turned over 90k kms (about 55k miles), and starts, runs, and idles smoothly. Gear shift without any grinds or jumps. We have driven this car about 4000 kilometers since it landed in the USA without issue. Factory air suspension raises the car at startup, and provides a smooth ride.
When the car landed, we performed and oil changed, and fixed the weak AC. The car was given a new AC compressor, evap core, and a fresh recharge of freon. The air conditioning blows as cold as new!
