We get a lot of requests for cheap, “project”, R32s, so we found one that was in good condition for the price, and brought it over. This Nissan Skyline R32 is a turbo 5 speed, and under $10,000. As far as we’re aware, this is cheapest turbo 5 speed Skyline R32 in the USA!
This R32 has an Origin body kit (front bumper, rear bumper, and sideskirts) painted satin silver. There are some imperfections in the body, but overall it’s not in terrible shape. The Origin kit is a classic drift kit that gives the car an aggressive appearance compared to stock. The car also has rear overfenders, and wider vented front fenders. Overall, the car is about the same width as the GTR. Lastly, the car is topped off with a well vented FRP hood and hood pins to assist the engine bay in staying cool.
The cluster has roughly 120k kms on it, which is roughly 74,000 miles.
The RB20DET starts, idles, and revs smoothly. HKS pod filters and front mount intercooler let the engine and turbo breathe better, and allow you hear the turbo loud and clear through the powerband. The 5 speed transmission shifts through all gears with ease. An oil catch can was installed in the engine bay to catch any oil blowby.
Suspension wise - the car sits on a set of adjustable coilovers that have plenty of room left for adjustment, along with an assortment of adjustable arms. A front strut bars was also added to stiffen the chassis. The brakes were upgraded with race pads and drilled rotors. The wheels are Advan AVS VS-5s that could use some spacers to fit the fenders.
The interior of this R32 GTST is complete other than the speaker surrounds, with all door panels, trims, and interior carpet present, including the OEM wheel! The driver seat was swapped to a racing style bucket seat, and the passenger seat is still the OEM R32 Skyline seat.
Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc. all work well.
